How to choose a face cream?

To choose a beauty cream – is not such a simple task. If you go into any store, you will understand what a great variety of cosmetic products offer manufacturers. How not to get confused and choose exactly what you need?

First, determine your skin type. Skin may be dry, oily, normal and mixed. In addition, the skin can be sensitive.

Dry skin looks very beautiful among young girls – it is thin, soft, matte, absolutely does not bear washing with soap and even from water it is pulled. Unfortunately, the beauty of dry skin is fragile, and the first wrinkles appear early enough.

Oily skin is often shiny, it can have acne and enlarged pores. All of these troubles can be avoided with proper care, in addition, oily skin remains young longer. And if you had suffered acne in youth, it is likely, in adulthood, you will have much less wrinkles than the women of the same age.

Normal skin is mat, elastic, soft. It looks fresh and healthy. Due to the fact that normal skin is better hydrated than dry, its youth lasts longer.

Mixed skin gives a lot of trouble. Often it is oily on the forehead and nose, but dry on the cheeks.

Pimples and spots appear easily on sensitive skin from malnutrition, irritation, sun, frost, and nerves. The most sensitive is dry skin.

In accordance with your type of skin you should choose a cream with a note “for oily / dry / normal / combination skin”.

Choosing a face cream in the shop, pay attention to the fact whether it is sold in a jar or tube. When you take the cream from the jar, you can add bacteria, due to which the cream goes bad quickly. If the cream is in a tube, then there is no direct contact of your hands with the whole mass of cream, which is an advantage.

Look at the consistency of cream. The cream should be indiscrete, mostly white (although the manufacturer may well add color). However, if the liquid flows from the tube, and then a mass of yellow, then cream is spoiled.

It is also desirable to test the cream: apply a small amount on the inside of your wrist and wait for half an hour. If there is no redness or burning, cream can be purchased.

You must smell cream. The smell must be pleasant. If you do not like the flavor, it is unlikely the cream benefit.

It is believed that you should start to use the cream only when the first wrinkles appear. However, this is not true. With correctly chosen cream the time of appearance of first wrinkles can be long delayed. This is especially true for dry skin. For the young skin, there is a special youth line, which moisturizes the skin and retains its youth, rather than struggling with existing wrinkles.

The cream can be day and night.

In principle, you can use both day and night cream so that the skin around has been protected for 24 hours. On the other hand, you can only use a day cream that protects skin from pollution, sunlight, etc.

In addition, day cream is an excellent base for make-up. It is fairly easy and quickly absorbed, so it is very convenient to apply in the morning, preferably for forty minutes before going home.

At night, the skin cells are regenerated. And if you are able to sleep soundly, then you will not have to use night cream. However, to use night cream or not – is up to you, you make your choice in accordance with your feelings after the use of a cream.

In any case, the skin before applying the cream should be well cleansed (scrub, lotion, tonic). Night Cream is absorbed much longer than a day, it should be applied for two hours before sleep. After two hours of the remnants of the cream removed with a napkin.

The cream can be moisturizing as well as nourishing. Most moisturizers are lighter and as a rule are used in summer, a nutritious cream is used in winter. Contrary to the opinion that only dry skin should be moisturized, moisturizer is also required for oily skin. But it should have the note “for oily skin”.

The cream is desirable to be kept in the refrigerator no longer than the specified expiration date. In addition, the shelf life of open packages of cream is much shorter and in three or four months you can see the first signs that the cream starts to go bad (disagreeable odor, formation of lumps, some liquid. Throw away cream without regret.

The skin quickly becomes accustomed to the cream, and it stops to give such good results as in the first week of application. Therefore, after your favorite cream is over (or goes off)  you’d better pick the cream of another company (preferably with milk, tonic water, and scrub). After some time you can return to your favorite brand.

Be attentive to your skin, and it will glow.
