How to make soap bubbles, bubble recipe, bubble mixture
Flying in the air, shimmering with all rainbow colors, transparent balls. What is it?
Well, of course, everyone knows the answer – it is bubbles.
This amusement has been known since ancient times and it attracts both children and adults.
For example, during the excavations of the famous city of Pompeii frescoes depicting children, blowing bubbles were discovered.
This fun is also equally popular in our age of high technologies. Give the child a tube and a soap solution and a minimum of 20 minutes of quiet is guaranteed to you.
The solution for bubbles can be obtained in the store (but then you will constantly doubt its proper quality) or prepared yourself.
Who of us in childhood did not waste the bottles of shampoo and tons of soap to make bubbles? Did you succeed?
I didn’t. The bubbles, of course, were blown up, but they burst at once, without even flying from the tip of the tube, or they still flew up, but did not fly anywhere, but fell down and burst, not even having touched the ground.
Such bubbles didn’t bring much joy. It turns out that in order to make the mixture for the bubbles, we must know a few little tricks. About them, but rather about the recipes of the solution, we are going to talk now. So, how to make soap bubbles?
The easiest way to make a solution is as follows: for 200g of dishwashing detergent (not for dishwashers) you need to take 600ml of water and 100ml of glycerin (sold at any drugstore).
Mix it well and your solution is ready. Glycerin is the very ingredient that makes the walls of a bubble stronger, and the bubble, respectively, more long-run.
Method number two. This recipe of making soap bubbles is more complicated and the preparation of the solution will take more time. For 600ml of hot water it is necessary to take 300ml of glycerin, 20 drops of liquid ammonia and 50oz. of any powdered detergent.
Mix all the ingredients and leave them to draw for 2-3 days. After this the solution is carefully filtered and put in the refrigerator for 12 hours. And finally, you can start blowing iridescent beauties.
Method three, in my opinion, very doubtful. But you can try. A piece of soap is rubbed on a grater.
The resulting soap flakes (4 tablespoons) are dissolved on low heat in 400ml of hot water. The solution is left for a week, and then 2 teaspoons of sugar are added. Leave it to dissolve sugar, then mix – and the mixture is ready.
You can just sit and blow bubbles. That in itself is a fascinating exercise. And you can make it even funnier.
For example, you can buy special floating candles, pour the water into the bathroom, place there lit candles, turn off the light and blow bubbles together with the child. I assure you, it is difficult to see more beautiful sight. And what relaxation!
It is interesting to blow bubbles in the winter on the street. At a temperature of -7 degrees bubble may freeze. To do this, put a snowflake on its top or gently lower the bubble to the snow. This trick requires a lot of investment and effort, but it’s worth it, believe me!
How else can you diversify the process of blowing bubbles? Take a flat plate with a diameter of 15-20cm. Pour a little bit of the solution for bubbles on it, take cocktail tube and blow a big bubble, so that it lie on the plate in the form of a hemisphere.
Then gently rotate the tube so that its end was disconnected from the wall of the bubble, but stayed inside. Blow the second bubble. The more you repeat this procedure, the more bubbles on the principle of “Matryoshka” you will have.
Do you like to blow bubbles, and your child admire them? Make him a gift on his holiday – make the bubble show. It has a very colorful and fascinating effect. Professionals make such things with the usual solution for bubbles that you have never dreamed of. Children will be delighted, and they will remember such a show much better than boring clowns.
